Overview
Certo24 is an AI-powered SaaS platform that lets users query official Italian business registries (Camera di Commercio), retrieve certified documents, and verify company data through a single structured interface.
Problem
Professionals had to navigate slow government portals, fill out redundant forms, and wait days for certified documents. The product collapses that entire workflow into a fast, searchable, pay-per-query system — making official business data accessible in seconds rather than days.
What I Built
I owned the full stack end-to-end — Next.js frontend with explicit state management and low-friction search/purchase paths, Spring Boot backend handling registry API integrations, document processing, and Stripe payment flows.
- Multi-step company search with autocomplete and fuzzy matching across Italian registry databases
- Document generation pipeline that assembles certified PDFs from registry API responses
- Stripe-integrated credit system with per-query billing and usage dashboards
- Admin analytics for tracking query volumes, revenue, and user behavior
Key Challenges
- Designing a responsive UI that stays readable during backend-heavy operations with variable response times
- Handling edge cases in registry data — merged companies, historical records, partial matches
- Building a billing model flexible enough for one-off queries and subscription-based bulk access
